When I saw this frame out in a local thrift store, it reminded me of the “Over the Garden Wall” series. So I brought it home, gave it a makeover with some Apoxieclay and some paint, and then painted a cheerful pumpkinhead girl with her new butterfly friend. It’s sweet and small, only 7 by 10 inches, and it’s a perfect reminder that even in the hottest summers Autumn is just around the corner…
