Description
This embroidery is my attempt to embrace both beauty and imperfection. The teacup is broken, but has become a haven for moss and butterflies. The snails nibble the rosebushes, but they keep the butterflies company as they dodge the spiderwebs. The cracks in the teacup shimmer with golden floss, and the wind whips the rose petals into the sky. It all sits inside an 8 inch hoop.
