Buttercake is easily one of the softest yarns I’ve ever been pleased to make. Half skin soft merino, half angora, the two have been plied together in a gorgeous, fluffy…well,I have to say it–“buttery” yarn! Shading from the softest yellow to the creamiest rose-pinks and browns, this yarn will add luxury to your happy projects! There’s 108 yards of heavy sport yarn, enough for a scarf or the body of a cowl. (I measure about 10-11 wpi) Along with that merino and angora there are pinches of shiny silk and very fine angelina–not so fine they sparkle, but enough to give a bit of shimmer.
This yarn has been handwashed in gentle soap and the twist has been set. Handwash only, as it will felt
